The museum is also an original location for a party or event. Surprise your guests or staff with a programme that could include a tour of the exhibition "Australia, the land, the people", a Balinese gamelan workshop, lunch or dinner or a congenial cocktail in a Mediterranean ambiance. Many combinations are possible and programmes are tailored to suit your needs. The event can be scheduled during the museum's hours of operation or after closing time.

You can also stage business presentations at the museum. A multipurpose room is available for a conference, business presentation, meeting, reception or party. Of course, this event could be combined with a visit to the museum and catering. 

Museum viewing outside normal hours of operation
It is possible to open up the museum, a few rooms or the temporary exhibit outside of normal hours for an exclusive viewin for your guests in combination with hiring space. A museum admission price (the group rate does not apply) is charged for a minimum of 100 people.

Catering is handled by Midi Mondial or Hof Catering. The use of other caterers is permitted subject to certain conditions and in consultation with the museum.
Needless to say, smoking is prohibited throughout the museum.
Cultural institutions are given a discount.
